Why send form entries to Slack?

What is a Slack incoming webhook?
It is a private web address that posts a message to one channel when something sends data to it. Slack makes one for free, and it needs no code on your side. How to post form entries to Slack, step by step
- In Slack, create an app with Incoming Webhooks switched on, and add a webhook for your channel.
- Copy the webhook address Slack shows.
- In Echo Forms with Signature, open the form and its Marketing tab.
- Tick Post to Slack and paste the Incoming webhook URL.
- Save, then send a test entry.
- Check the channel; the post usually arrives within 5 seconds.
