What's new in Echo Forms.

The Echo Forms changelog: every release of Echo Forms and Echo Forms Signature, newest first, with what changed. Updates arrive inside WordPress like any other plugin update.

  1. Echo Forms 1.1.2

    • With no way to pay online set up yet, the Payments tab says so and links to setting one up, without Extra help switched on.

  2. Echo Forms Signature 1.1.3

    • An info or answer screen you add starts with a heading and a line to change, instead of a blank card.
    • Where a screen is made reads "Design it in: Echo Forms, Elementor or Beaver Builder".

    • In the Screens preview, a screen that quotes an answer shows an example answer, such as "165 lb is a great goal, Jamie".

    • The live summary and save and resume keep fields made in the builder: summary rows no longer read "no longer on the form", and a resumed form comes back filled in.
    • The landing page preview keeps each point on its own line on every host.

    • A live summary beside the form that fills in as people answer, in five looks (Signature).
    • The popup designer: slide-ins, bars and full-screen popups from twelve templates, with words or a picture beside the form (Signature).
    • Landing pages get gradient, color and picture backgrounds, the words beside the form, and a form card you style (Signature).
    • Examples: five finished forms to start from, under Echo Forms > Examples and in the New form window (Signature).
    • Emails: send one to the person who filled the form in, design it beside the email as it arrives, wait days before sending, and send yourself a test.
    • New fields are named by type, the form name is edited in the top bar, and choices start with example words.
    • A missed answer says so under its own field, in the form's look, once Next or Submit is pressed.
    • One switch on the Payments tab takes a payment; switching it off puts back what came after sending.
    • Entries are titled with the person's name or email and numbered within each form.
    • New forms start in Echo's teal.
    • A thank-you page shows only the answers just sent, and an imported form file can no longer send entries or files to anyone else.

    • On a form's Notifications tab, each notification's name sits beside its switch instead of wrapping against Edit.

    • The setup only says your email is connected once Spout SMTP has signed in successfully; a failed sign-in shows what went wrong.
    • The setup installs Spout SMTP from WordPress.org only when the listing is ours.
    • A conversational form's progress bar no longer changes the step style you chose in the builder or in an export.
    • Pressing Enter in an address or map search picks the place and stays on the question.
    • Without Signature, the builder's Landing page button shows what Signature adds.

    • A field you lock shows a small lock by its label and a muted box, so people can see the answer is settled; dark designs show it too.
    • Clearer wording in the setup's email step.

    • Save and resume later spans the whole form, and a theme's button colors no longer repaint its links.

    • A short setup on first activation: what Echo Forms does, getting email delivered (with Spout SMTP, free), a test email, and a first form from the templates.
    • The builder's top bar holds Preview, Landing page, Spotlight and Switch sides, each with a label on hover. Preview on a new form saves it first.
    • Spotlight dims every field except the one you are editing.
    • A Survey and poll tab in Settings gathers the poll switch, the answer counts and the survey templates.
    • Landing pages get a live preview at desktop and phone size, a picture background, a width choice and a clear look.
    • Conversational forms get a welcome screen, a choice of progress bar, and Enter to go to the next question.
    • Answers brought in from an earlier form can be locked so they cannot be changed.
    • Clearer quiz editor wording, and picture and icon buttons that match the rest of the builder.
    • Settings rows line up, secondary buttons are softer, and every on/off is a switch.

    Twelve finished form designs on the Style tab: Aurora, Frosted, Hairline, Editorial, Blush, Terminal, Poster, Lagoon, Sunset, Fern, Noir and Studio. Pick one, then change its colors, corners, font, fields and button.
