Echo Forms features
Signature

WordPress form workflows that hand one form to the next.

A WordPress form workflow carries people from one form to the next with their answers filled in. Finish an intake and the quote form opens ready; send it on for approval with its own form. In Echo Forms Signature it is built in, with no workflow add-on to buy and nothing to connect.

Highlighted fields were carried over from the form before.

Two forms, one journey

A quote that leads to a booking, a sign-up that leads to a questionnaire.

Nobody types twice

Name, email and any other answer carry over to the next form.

Private by design

A one-time code opens only that one entry.

No add-on

Part of Echo Forms Signature, not a second plugin to buy.

Watch it hand over

Book a massage, and the intake form is already filled in.

Maya books a treatment. The moment she sends it, the intake form opens with her name, email and treatment already in, locked, so all she adds is what only she can tell you.

The next form opens on its own

Her answers carried over and locked

A lock shows what cannot change

Feat after they send it confirmation type r1025
Send them on

The next form opens the moment they send this one.

Set Confirmation type to Send them to another form and pick the form that comes next. Instead of a thank-you message, they land on the next step of the journey.

Works once the next form is on a published page

A delay and a waiting message if you want one

Your own values added to the next address

Carry the answers

Each field can start with an answer from the form before.

On the next form, point a field at the form and the answer it should take. When someone arrives, their name, email and anything else you linked are already filled in. Lock a settled answer so it stays as it was.

Pick the form and the answer for each field

Lock the answer they bring so it cannot change

Opened another way, the form simply starts empty

Feat field options autopopulate r1025

Everything in form workflows.

What it does, a line each, so you can check it does what you need.

Send them to another form

Pick the form that comes next; it opens the moment they press send.

Answers carried over

Any field on the next form can start with an answer from the one before.

Locked answers

Lock an answer they bring so it cannot be changed, the same as Read only.

A private one-time code

The next form reads the first one through a code that opens only that entry.

Empty when opened alone

Opened any other way, the next form starts empty and works as normal.

URL parameters

Add your own values to the next address, such as a campaign name.

A pause before moving on

Seconds to wait, with a message, before the next form opens.

Longer journeys

The next form can send them on again, to a third.

No workflow add-on

Part of Echo Forms Signature, with nothing else to install or connect.

Set it up

How to connect forms into one workflow.

Made for teams that run one process across several forms: intake, quote and approval. Two forms take about 10 minutes to link, because the second reads its answers from the first instead of asking again.

01

Build both forms

Make the first form and the one that comes next, then put the second on a published page, as in WordPress’s guide to pages.

02

Send them on

On the first form’s Settings > Confirmations, set Confirmation type to Send them to another form and pick the next one.

03

Carry the answers over

On the next form, set each field’s Autopopulate from another form to the first form, so names and emails arrive filled in.

04

Add a multi-step approval

Link a third form the same way for a manager’s approval, then send the first form in test mode to try the whole journey in about 2 minutes.

Questions, answered.

No. Sending people from one form to the next, and carrying their answers over, is part of Echo Forms Signature. There is no separate workflow add-on.

No. The next form reads the first form’s answers through a private one-time code that only opens that one entry.

It opens empty, and they fill it in as normal. The answers only carry over when the first form sends them there.

Sending people on to another form, autopopulating from another form and URL parameters come with Echo Forms Signature.
