Echo Forms features
Signature

Echo Relay passes answers from one WordPress form to the next.

Echo Relay carries people from one form to the next with their answers already filled in, box by box. Pick the earlier form, pick the answer, and lock it if it should not change. No web addresses to build and no add-on to buy.

Two picks per field

Choose the earlier form, then the answer that should fill this field.

Every kind of field

Names box by box, addresses part by part, choices, dropdowns and emails.

Locked means locked

A locked answer is checked again on your site when the form is sent.

Nothing to build

No web address to write and no add-on: it is part of Echo Forms Signature.

In the builder

Pick the form, the answer, and the lock.

Open a field on the second form and find Echo Relay. Choose the form people fill in first, then the answer that should fill this field. Only answers that fit are listed, so an email field is only offered emails.

Send them on

The next form opens the moment they send this one.

On the first form, set Confirmation type to Send them to another form and pick the form that comes next. Instead of a thank-you message, they land on the next step with their answers in place.

Everything in Echo Relay.

What it does, a line each, so you can check it does what you need.

Two picks per field

Choose the earlier form, then the answer that fills this field.

Every kind of field

Text, email, phone, dates, numbers, choices, dropdowns and hidden fields.

Names and addresses in parts

A name fills first and last name boxes; an address fills street, city and ZIP.

Only answers that fit

An email field is offered emails, an address field is offered addresses.

Locked answers

Shown with a small lock, and checked again on your site when the form is sent.

Nothing in the address

Only a private key travels to the next page; the answers stay on your site.

Open when opened alone

Opened any other way, the next form starts empty, with nothing locked.

Longer journeys

The next form can send them on again, to a third.

No add-on

Part of Echo Forms Signature, with nothing else to install or connect.

No web addresses to build. No add-on to buy.

Gravity Forms and WPForms pass answers on by writing them into the next page’s web address, one field code at a time, and matching each one on the second form. Echo Relay asks for two picks.

The usual way

Build a web address, then match it field by field.

The journeys it was made for.

Any two forms where the second should already know the first one’s answers.

Inquiry to onboarding

A new client sends an inquiry. The onboarding form opens with their name, email and service already in, so they only add what is new.

RSVP to payment

A guest says how many seats they want. The payment form opens with their name and seats carried over and locked, so the seats they pay for are the seats they asked for.

Support ticket to follow-up

Someone reports a problem with an order. The follow-up form opens with their order number and email filled in, so every answer arrives tied to that order.

Set it up

How to connect two forms with Echo Relay.

Made for anyone who runs one process across several forms: inquiry and onboarding, booking and intake. Two forms take about 10 minutes to link, because the second reads its answers from the first instead of asking again.

01

Build both forms

Make the first form and the one that comes next, then put the second on a published page, as in WordPress’s guide to pages.

02

Send them on

On the first form’s Settings > Confirmations, set Confirmation type to Send them to another form and pick the next one.

03

Relay the answers

On the next form, open a field’s Echo Relay, choose the first form and the answer it should take. Lock it if it should not change.

04

Try the journey

Send the first form in test mode and watch the second open filled in, in about 2 minutes.

Questions, answered.

No. Sending people from one form to the next, and carrying their answers over, is part of Echo Forms Signature. There is no add-on to buy.

No. The next page’s address carries one private key that opens only that one entry, so nobody can read someone else’s answers by changing it.

Not in the form, and not by editing the page either: a locked answer that was carried over is checked again on your site when the form is sent, and the original is kept.

It opens empty and unlocked, and they fill it in as normal. The answers only carry over when the first form sends them there.

Echo Relay and sending people on to another form come with Echo Forms Signature.
